Why are guide dogs important?	Because they help blind people to walk.
What type of dogs are trained to be guide dogs in New Zealand?	There is labradors and golden retrievers.
What is the job of a puppy walker?	Helping blind person who will be helped.
Would guide dogs chase cats? Why or why not	Because if there dogs and cats the dog will might lost there pet.
Why do guide dogs wear a harness?	So they don’t bark.
Should you pat a guide dog when it is wearing a harness?  Why or why not?	No because your not allowed to pat them.

Athletics day

Last friday we had athletics day . We did different kind of sports on athletics day for the whole school . We were playing 6 games before morning tea and another 6 after morning tea . 6 games add another 6 is 12 . Then at lunch we went to see the seniors, teacher and parents had to race . all the teachers lost and the students won the racing games on athletics day it was so cool .

My favourite games was all the games that we played. The seniors game was so cool I liked that we played all the seniors games was so great. But we had to play 6 seniors after morning tea.

My favourite sport was the senior games it was so much fun.

The Library

Today room 13 went to the library to get new books I went to the library as well  I get to take two books and I got magic Poine and magic puppy the were both my favourite books ever me and the rest of the class had to take it back to room 13 so we can read them it will be the best to read them. Room 13 gets to pick any book that is the best for them if you like it you get but if I like it I will get it the best that anything you can read any kind of book that you want that you like. You can have chapter books or comic books any books that you want to have when your finish you can you books then you can put your shoes on then you can go to class but there are rules in the library no running stay quiet and sit down in the library and read on the mat.

Manaiakalani film festival

Yesterday the whole school went in a bus to sylvia park to watch the Manaiakalani film festival video when we got there we sat down on the top red chairs at the top to see the giant big screen to see our video’s. Me and Trinity sat together to see the best view from the top our movie was love generation. The other movies were great as well i like the presenting part after other movies.

My favourite part was that all the movies was fantastic at the manaiakalani film festival it was so much fun there to watch the movies.

Riding in the bus all the way back to school to have some morning tea and have a play.

Be a tidy kiwi

On Thursday we were helping miss scanlan to pick up the rubbish in the school and on the field so the whole school can be clean all day.

Ice cream

Room 13 got to make ice cream in a bag.

Popcorn

Popcorn is dry and it gets better on the popcorn it was today in a popcorn maker to make popcorn. Popcorn is really hot when you put it on your hands.

Lunchtime

In the holiday

In the holidays I am going to riverside camp with my dad it will be on the boat. I am so excited going to riverside camp it will be so amazing there on the boat it will be so super fantastic going there. It is only four days on the boat friday means we get to go back home to see mum, brother and sister if you want to see them again.

The weekend

In the weekend I went swimming on sunday it was so fun in the pools. I jumped in the pool and i kicked my legs in the pool and i done a flip in the pool we had 2 hours to have a nice swim. I did some cool tricks in the pool flips and handstands in the water it was so fun in the water. We had to go home in the car to go home it was so fun at the pool.

Cross Country

It Was on Friday we were doing cross country when we were about to run we sat on the ground to the youngest to the oldest we went in 2 Different  rows one line is for boys and the other one is for girls. We How to do one lap around the outside of the park and the field nefia won the race. I really like the reac it was so fun at cross country.

I was in hokule’a and I feel nervous About starting the race I never gave up when I started running I stopped because my pain hurt. I felt so thirsty but I was nearly there I never gave up when i was running I felt so tired Because I do not want to run.

I was running and miss scanlan took a photo of me running at the cross country with amira was running with me too. Then i cross the finish line.

Derek Redmond

He ran half way and broken his leg so he stop because he got hurt. On the back the back of his leg he felt like a pain Was coming to him It hurts his leg. He was hopping on one leg  and everyone cheers For him  and he made it Through the finish line everyone was happy when he made it His dad felt happy too.  they like To cheer to him

His dad went to go and help him finish the race then he started to run with him to help so he can run to the Finish line and he can help him run so the dad went to push the people away from him to make him not finish the race but the dad wanted to let him finish the race.

The Olympics

The Olympics starts on the 5 th of August in Brazil is the country. A long time ago there were only short running races only for men. The winner get's a crown of olive leaves then they get a medal after they get the crown. They relay pass the torch to runners. It is two and a half day until it starts. In the anuient Olympics the men had to fight for war the women's was not alwed to fight in war. The men were strong and the women were week to fight in war so they were not alwed to go in with the men.

Ancient Olympics

The first Ancient Olympics games took place about 3000 years  ago  and olympia Greece were held to honour  Zeus the king of the gods and they happened every 4 year. In the beginning the games were just short running raceses for brake men to keep fit for war.  There was only one winner and the winner got a crown of olive leaves. Over time were ad like horse reaching and boxing.  After the 1000 years the  Ancient Olympics were banned by the christians. The Ancient Olympics were always remembered of hope and peace

Art Gallery

The art gallery was in the hall and there was so much cool art in the hall because there is so much in there it was super fun.

My favourite thing about the art gallery was the little house and all of the paintings in the art gallery.

I really like own painting in the art gallery room 13 looked at it they think it is super cool I really like room 13 one and they like there ones to.

Trip to Te Tuhi

Room 13 went on the bus to Te Tuhi .When we went inside and we got in two lines we met Jeremy we sat down and looked at the TV's then we listen to Jeremy's rules. We went in the art room and got a blue card. We got to cut out 10 shapes I made a rocket then we got in lines and room 13 were watching two videos . Aftert that we went back on the bus and then we went back to school and went in the classroom. At te tuhi I made a rocket in the rocket.

The Manta Resort underwater room. And it is next to Africa and it is in Pemba Island.

They can swim in the water or diving in the water.

The Manta Resort is next to Africa. you can go on the roof and lie down and look at the stars on the sky. you can lie down on your bed and watch the fish or you can sit and watch the fish out the window and watch the fish play.

Mice have fur and they are the size of a potato it has a furless long thin tail. They have 4 paws and it has big black eyes and it got 2 soft ear.

Mice can eat seeds and nuts when they are hungry. They can eat fruit, vegetables, bread and ham and also dog biscuits. They like to drink clean water to be nice and healthy.

The Amazing Sydney Opera Houes

The sydney opera house is in Australia and it looks big.

In the day it looks fine at night it can turn to strange colors at night.

It looks like 7 000 000 people that can watch the show.

The Amazing Hotel

The skylodge hotel is 1200 feet high and it is scary to go on the mountain. It takes two hours to climb to the skylodge hotel it as a good view.

It is short but it has two floors and there are four single beds to sleep on. There is a toilet and outside you can eat. The wall were metal and glass but the glass can make you see anything down to the ground.

They can eat outside and they put the table outside so they can eat and drink their food and they have ropes so they can not fall down so they need the ropes to stay on the wooden floor.

The London Eye

The ferris wheel as 32 gondolas and it takes 30 min to go around and when it is night time it started to turn all the lights on in the dark.  The ferris wheel is 40 metres tall and it can spin around. At night there turn to  different colours at night time they can turn into pink and blue all night. And it looks kind of tall and scary to do when you on the top of the ferris wheel and you can see anything and it will be cool.

Swimming

Everyday Room 13 go's to the gi pools. Before we got in the pool we waited for Room 14. To have a swim too. I love it because we can learn to swim. Then we went to class and got chaneg.

On Monday morning room 13 go's in 2 line .One for girl and one for boy's.we went to cricket. When we got there we lisen to the cricket coaeh what he sas.

My Teacher

this term I like having Mrs   Sickland has Room 13 's teacher. she has been at Pt England school for nearly 10 years teaing  year 4 student's. We like Mrs Stickland as our teacher.

My Friend

My best friends are Trinity, Danielle and Punaiuru. All these girls are kind and helpful. We always play together on the playground.
