I am a Year 5 student at Pt England School in Auckland, NZ. My teachers are Miss Scanlan, Mr Goodwin, and Miss Parrant.
Matariki is the name of a group of stars to appear and the winter night sky. It marks the beginning to Maori new year which is a time for people to celebrate.
